Fashion Illustrator turned fashion Designer!

I've always loved fashion. In high school, almost all my classmates begged me to design costumes for them. No, don't praise me yet. Those costumes were not costumes they could wear, they were costumes they could only admire on paper. I only knew how to sketch the design I saw in my head (how was that even possible?) but couldn't bring it to life. I promised my friends I was going to learn how to sew them one day and make them wear it. But the truth here was; I only said that to fan into flames their already burning fantasies of wearing the costumes I gorgeously sketched.

Reading a lot about fashion later, I learnt that type of fashion- designing or sketching costume on paper- is called fashion illustration and that's how i knew I was a fashion illustrator. Many years after high school, the lie I thought I told my friends has become my reality. I don't only sketch costumes on paper, now I'm able to make it come to life and breath. I sit hours behind my sewing machine, putting ideas together and creating chic costumes clients would love to wear, and even make recommendations to others about.

What I'm trying to tell you is that I maaaade it!!! Nah.
